Dr. Joyce Knudsen received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of
Science in Business Administration, a comprehensive management training program
recognized worldwide. Joyce has earned a Ph.D. in Human Services, with an emphasis
on self-image. Joyce takes pride in what she does. Her keen sense of business, strong
educational background and support of her husband led her to the development of
The ImageMaker, Inc. in 1985. This company continues to specialize in helping people
to understand the importance of a strong and positive self image.
For two years Joyce produced and hosted a daily television program, geared toward
professional image enhancement and self-esteem. She has been featured in local and
national newspapers, and has appeared on several local radio and television talk
shows. She is the author of six books, including, From Head to Soul for Women and
From Head to Soul for Men - Daily Guides to Personal Style and Inner Self Confidence,
Successful Failures, and From Head to Soul International (with Desmond Chan).
Joyce is a pioneer in her field, having developed the first three Home Study Mentoring
Programs in the world awarding CEU credits by AICI (The Association of Image Consultants,
International).
She has the coveted distinction of receiving the first CIM (Certified Image Master),
the highest achievement in the Image Industry, through AICI. In addition, Joyce
was recognized at a banquet by her peers with the 2001 IMMIE AWARD (Image Makers
Merit of Industry Excellence) for her work in the Image Industry and the 2004 Award
of Excellence for Education.

Indianapolis Star, Detroit News and Free Press, The Tennessean Newspaper, and The
South China Morning Post.
Joyce owes her achievements to a fundamental understanding of, not only herself,
but others, as well. Indeed, Joyce has learned what it takes to be successful -
both in private and professional life. By working with individuals, organizations
and companies in many different industries, Joyce Knudsen is sharing her powerful
insights into human nature. She is helping people to bring out their best in everything
that they do. Joyce knows that happiness must precede success - that inner strength
